Private Practice Numbers Reducing, Hospital Employment Growing

Many private practice physicians have been forced between laying off employees, or selling their practice to be included under a hospital. Through the Medicare System, hospitals are reimbursed for larger amounts of money than private practice doctors. This makes it difficult for these doctors to provide services at reasonable fees.
