A growing number of men have begun to take on the position of caregiver as our baby boomers are reaching a more dependant age and their children are more dispersed throughout the county. A role usually thought to be that of women, men are beginning to bridge the social norms and are taking a more active role in the lives of their elderly loved ones. This position offers new challenges in the lives of the caregivers, which can often be relieved through participation in support groups.
